Here's a nice chart of Canon FD film cameras: Realize that the Canon FD mount is a dead manual focus mount, it hasn't been supported since 1990 or so. Of course, those are just bodies, then you'd have to consider a lens. But it was certainly amazing to use in 1988. For all I know, though, the thing isn't as good as I remember, especially compared to today's cameras. It took other makers another decade or so to figure out how to make a good electronic camera. Now, if your preference leans to something electronic, the Canon T90 IMHO was the first electronic camera which was worth a damn. The one I'm talking about is the one in the photo on the wiki article: There are a few flavors of the F-1, as Canon re-used the name for a few different cameras.

That was Canon's pro model, comparable to Nikon's F5. Best film camera I've ever used is the Canon New F-1 with AE Finder.
